Buying a good nice looking blazer for your farewell or your fresher's party? maybe for any other occasion , A nice looking suit is the one you all need to stand out. Believe me, a suit is the most attractive garment in your wardrobe which can really amplifies your overall personality in a very clean and a comfortable way. Moreover it is the piece of clothing which is liked by almost all people around you, from your mom to your girlfriend OR from your dad to your friends. AND yeah! ....you can have that rich man look, even you are not a CEO or any other rich person belonging to a high professional job or a nice built business. Plus it gives you more confident, more attention and at last it is truly professional.
Now see....A suit is just any other clothing you wear on some special occasions only, it is not like a shirt or a pant which you wear more often right?
So the thing is,....... yeah! you have to wear it properly in order to look your best or you will end up being like a guy who doesn't care about what he is wearing, and just more lousy and that one who is in a girls blacklist.
SO without wasting your valuable time here are some major steps and tips you should consider while purchasing or tailoring a nice looking suit:-
1: YOUR SLEEVES LENGTH.
Sleeves length plays a important role in your suit's fit, if its too long it can ruin your overall style, or if it is too short you end up being like a guy who is wearing his junior brother suit. You have to be keen in this matter.
While buying a suit please make sure that it has 1/2 or 1/4 quarter or 3 inches of space left between your sleeve end and your wrist. And the MAIN AIM OF THIS IS, MAKING YOUR SHIRT SLEEVES VISIBLE means your suit's sleeve must be shorter than your inner shirt sleeve. It looks more clean and fitted which surely brush up your overall style.
2: SUIT'S OVERALL LENGTH.
Now this the factor which changes the perspective of other's seeing you, YOUR overall suit's length must be according to your height and it must fall only up to your couch, if you wearing mid top pant.
OK let's make it easy to understand, from other way it can be said that your top button of 2 button suit and middle button of three button suit should not fall below your navel. Just keep that in mind if you are purchasing, or while tailoring ...it is easy for you to tell this info to your tailor.
"YOU have to wear your suit to determine its length suits you or not."
3: SUIT'S SHOULDER (most important):
Now the most important step is to check, weather the shoulders of your suit are well tailored or not...JUST wear it up and see how shoulder's fit is, if it bulges or creases outside your natural shoulder area than that suit isn't in your list at all, and if you find your shoulder struggling to came out, then it maybe too short for you.
KEEP IN MIND everything can be tailored but the shoulder area of suit can't be....even for a well trained tailor it takes time and effort and cost you some higher bucks for correction.
So always while purchasing a suit moreover i suggest you t0 tailor a suit of your own size fitting, always check its shoulder area.
4: PROPER FRONT FITTING.
NOW if we talk about COMFORTABILITY it is important to check down your button area of your suit ...see if there is enough space between your belly and suit's button, if its too tight it it creates a problem later or if it too loose you end up being like drowsy and lousy in your event.
PROPER front FITTING plays a great role in order to quickly determine your suit's overall size.
See, especially while purchasing your suit if your front fitting is loose, it has greater chances that its overall fitting is also loose and its size is too bigger for you ....check the smaller size then.
Too tight maybe sign that its size is smaller for you. And YEAH! IN this way you can determine your perfect overall fitting easily.
5: TWO BUTTONS OR THREE BUTTONS?
Now the question arises weather to buy a two button or a three button suit, Here the thing is two button suit looks more formal and traditional than a three button one, suits having three buttons can be considered for more casual occasions like marriage, parties etc.
BUT if you are going for a meeting or a formal party or you want to look more busy and clean i suggest you to buy two button suit.
NOW here's the suggestion __TWO button suit is all you need if you don't wear them too often and need only one in wardrobe ...just play with colours to make it more casual or more formal like black one looks more formal than a light blue colour.
6: PROPER COLLAR CAVITY.
NOT so important, but if you don't give a little attention it may ruin your suit. YES, before buying or tailoring take a small look at the collar of the suit, weather it is properly finished or not. Any mistake you find in it like loose, more deeper than usual or too wide, quickly give it to your tailor to correct if you already buy one or tailoring your own.
7: YEAH! YOUR PANTS SHOULD BE FINELY TAPERED.
Last but not least, "YOUR PANTS." It should be well tapered and narrowed from up to the bottom ...it is not to be skin tight...believe me you are wearing a suit pant not a jeans.
Your waist must be perfectly fitted in a way that, even if you wear it without a belt, it doesn't becomes too loose or too tight.
PANTS length should be fall on your ankle just a little above your shoe , not below your shoes. DEFINITELY NOT LIKE THIS:-
